TINLEY PARK -
A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE...
LET`S KEEP IT THAT WAY!

STAND ON OUR RECORD!

The Village of Tinley Park currently ranks among the top 5% of the most fiscally responsible and well managed municipalities in the nation, and has one of the strongest and most stable economic climates in the Midwest for its residents and businesses.

This is attributable to the hard work and dedication of Greg Hannon, Patricia Leoni and Thomas Staunton, who are currently running for office, and Mayor Edward Zabrocki, Village Clerk Patrick Rea, and Trustees David Seaman, Brian Maher and T.J. Grady who currently serve in that same way.

Since 2008, the Village of Tinley Park has maintained an excellent credit rating AA+.

This rating allows the Village to operate effectively and economically to the taxpayers. Part of the financial strategy of the Mayor and Village Board over the years has been to refinance previously issued bonds at a lower interest rate; very similar to refinancing your home which saves taxpayer dollars.

Building the Convention Center and it's addition, the Train Station on Oak Park Ave. and the new 80th Ave. Train Station, have made Tinley Park a focal point in the South Suburbs. The Convention Center is being paid through TIF dollars with no additional tax burden to the community. The 80th Ave. Train Station was a joint venture with Metra and is funded by several Federal Grants and funding streams set aside by the Village that will not add to taxpayer burden.
