Patricia Leoni is a retired elementary school principal with 25 years experience in school administration and 10 years focusing on special education. She currently serves as a supervising administrator for School District 170. Prior to joining the Village Board, Patty served for eight years as a Commissioner and Board Secretary for the Tinley Park-Park District.
Her volunteer efforts include serving for 15 years on the Board of Directors for the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, a shelter and resource center for victims of domestic violence serving two years as Board President. In honor of her leadership and vision in this role, Patty received the 2010 Crisis Center's Dianne Masters Award. Patty also serves as a Eucharistic minister at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Tinley Park.
Patty is currently Chairperson of the villages' Budget, Audit and Administration Committee and board liaison to the senior commission and police pension board.
Patty is married 41 years to Bob, an attorney and they have three adult sons.
Patty states "Keeping Tinley Park a great place to live is a labor of love." When asked about life in Tinley Park, this is what Patty has to say...
"We constantly explore ways to manage and reduce village expenses and maintain the outstanding services residents have come to expect, Tinley Park is a great place to live and we will work every day to improve the villages' quality of life."
